Back Again at the Wardlaw-Hartridge School!

On November 14, 2025, we returned back again to the Wardlaw-Hartridge School after the summer with another ChemZoo session, this time for the school’s aftercare program—and it was a blast! We brought back a fan favorite experiment: baking soda and vinegar balloons.

Although the session was shorter than usual, it was packed with excitement and curiosity. As soon as the kids saw the balloons start to inflate, their faces lit up with amazement. Everyone eagerly gathered around, asking questions and making predictions about what would happen next. The room was buzzing with energy as students took turns measuring, pouring, and watching the chemical reaction unfold in real time.

It was so rewarding to see how engaged the students were, even in a brief after-school setting. Science doesn’t need to be long or complicated to be impactful.
